Outcomes
Group your records by any field, every value counted, numeric stats included. Add a second field for sub-groups and per-group totals. Then act: select a group and update or delete its records on the spot, without exporting anything.

| Deal owner | Deals | Minimum | Maximum | Average | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Priya Shah | 126 | $4,200 | $98,000 | $24,460 | $3.08M |
| Alex Morgan | 104 | $2,800 | $81,000 | $20,940 | $2.18M |
| Revenue Queue | 57 | $900 | $44,000 | $12,380 | $706K |
Pick a field and see every value counted. Add a second field for sub-groups and numeric statistics. Then select any group and update or delete its records in place. It is pivot-table analysis on live CRM data, with write-back built into the same screen.
See how it worksDistribution questions, accounts per rep, pipeline per stage per owner, or lead sources by lifecycle stage, usually get answered in a CRM report builder or an exported spreadsheet. One limits the fields you can ask about. The other is stale on arrival.
When the answer demands action, “these 340 records need a new owner”, you leave the analysis, rebuild the segment as a CRM filter, and start over. Group & Update collapses that round trip: the analysis and the action are the same screen.

Select a field, click Analyze, and every unique value appears with its record count, most common first. Filter before you analyze to focus on a team, source, or time range. Expand any group to inspect its records with the columns you choose.
FILTER FIRST
Scope the analysis to the exact population that matters.
COUNT EVERYTHING
See every unique value, including blanks and long-tail categories.
DRILL DOWN
Open a group and inspect the individual records behind the count.

| Coastal Cargo | Transportation | Unassigned |
One field answers “how many of each.” Two fields answer the questions managers actually ask. When the second field is numeric, Group & Update calculates minimum, maximum, average, and total for every group automatically.
It is pivot-table semantics on live CRM data, and unlike a pivot table, it is about to let you change what you found.
Pipeline distribution: minimum, maximum, average, and total deal value per owner, without building a report.
Attribution shape: see which sources produce which stages in one breakdown.
Coverage pattern: see where new records are landing and which segments are thinning.
Select a whole group with one checkbox, or hand-pick records inside it, and act from the Update or Delete tab. Consolidate category stragglers, clear a junk segment, or reassign an orphaned book of business from the analysis itself.
Save the configuration as a template and the recurring question becomes a recurring one-click answer.
Capture is the safety net. Update and Delete apply on confirmation; there is no in-module preview step. Overwritten values are captured in the Activity Tracker CSV. For deletions, choose the fields the report preserves in the Record Viewer layout before you act. For changes too broad to verify by inspection, use Bulk Operations and its Preview mode.

Use it when the question is: “What is in this one field, how healthy is it, and what needs standardizing?” It shows variations, metadata, and field health through a cleanup lens.
Messy field → Cleanse DataUse it when the question is: “How is my data distributed, and does a group need changing?” It groups records across one or two fields and adds per-group statistics.

G2 reviewChoose the CRM object and field, apply any filters that should limit the population, and click Analyze. Group & Update lists every unique field value with its record count. Expand a group to inspect the individual records behind it.
Yes. Group by Deal Owner and add Deal Amount as the second field. Insycle calculates the minimum, maximum, average, and total deal value for each owner automatically.
Yes. Select a whole group or individual records within it, open the Update tab, choose the field and value, and confirm the operation. Group & Update does not include a preview step, so use Bulk Operations when the scope is too broad to verify in the grouped view.
There is no one-click restore. The Activity Tracker report captures the overwritten Before values for the run, which you can use to restore updates through Magical Import by matching on Record ID.
The deletion is permanent in the CRM. The Activity Tracker report captures the deleted records with the fields included in your Record Viewer layout, so set that layout before you act. Re-importing can recreate records with new IDs, but associations and CRM history do not return automatically.
Connect your CRM, pick a field, and see every value counted, then act on the group without exporting it.
From monthly check to standing standard
Accounts per territory, records per owner, tier coverage, these are strategies you are still auditing manually. Turn the recurring check into an operations Blueprint, with coverage and drift monitored automatically.
